What is an MCP server?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets an AI assistant use tools from other software. An MCP server is the part of a product that offers those tools.

With the Kalko MCP server, you can ask your assistant to run discovery or explain an account, and it calls Kalko to do it.

How do you connect Claude to Kalko?

1. In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors.
2. Select Add, then Add custom connector.
3. Enter a name, paste https://www.kalko.ai/api/mcp as the server URL, and continue.
4. Sign in to Kalko in the window that opens, and choose your workspace.
5. Ask Claude to work, for example: show me my top accounts and why they rank.

How do you connect ChatGPT, Cursor or another client?

Any MCP client that supports remote servers with OAuth can connect the same way. Add the endpoint URL, sign in and pick the workspace.

A script or CI job cannot open a browser. For those, create a workspace key in Settings, then API keys, and send it as a bearer token:

What can you ask Kalko from your assistant?

• Build or update your brief: the product, the ideal customer and the buyers.
• Run discovery for new accounts, and see the evidence behind each one.
• Read your board: top accounts, why they rank, and what changed.
• Prepare for a call with the account's signals and the buyer's public posts.
• Draft messages and review the plays waiting for approval.
• Check your credit balance and usage before you spend.

How is access controlled?

• A sign-in connection acts only on the workspace you choose, and you can revoke it from your account at any time.
• A workspace key belongs to the workspace, not to one person. Anyone with the key can act on that workspace's data.
• Every action that spends credits shows the cost first, as it does in the app.
